– 1/2 cup fat free milk (or skim milk or whatever you prefer)
– 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese
– 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
– 1 tbsp imitation vanilla extract
– handful of ice
Blend until smooth.
You can also use regular vanilla extract, although I find imitation to be just as good, as well as cheaper, and about half the calories (though you never really use much for it to matter). This can also be made with other flavors of protein powder. I’m sure if you used vanilla powder you wouldn’t need to add extract but it probably wouldn’t hurt.
Blend some fruit in too? Yum.
